By using this site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. We may update these terms from time to time, and continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
What this site provides
This site describes the Liftstead design and build service, publishes educational articles, and offers free planning tools. Site content and tool results are general information, not an offer or an estimate for your project.
Liftstead is a custom home-gym design and build service. Project pricing varies by scope and site, so figures on this site are typical ranges, not quotes; your fixed quote comes after a consultation. Equipment dimensions and requirements cited here are typical manufacturer specifications, and building-code notes are general practice that varies by jurisdiction; confirm specifics with your product manuals and local building department. Questions about slab capacity or the load a framed floor can carry belong with a licensed structural engineer, and we will tell you when your project needs one. Installations are performed by licensed installers as our hiring standard. Liftstead is a new studio building its first portfolio; we do not show client testimonials or project counts, and we will never invent them.
Consultations, quotes, and payment
Requesting a consultation through this site creates no payment obligation. There is no online checkout here. If we proceed together, the scope, price, schedule, and payment terms for your project are set out in a written quote and agreement that we both sign, and that document, not this site, governs the engagement.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the site: no scraping at abusive volume, no attempting to breach security, no submitting forms with someone else's identity, and no using the content to mislead others.
Intellectual property
The Liftstead site, including its design, content, and tools, is owned by Liftstead. You may use the free tools and read the content for your own planning. Renders and design documents we produce for a project are governed by that project's agreement.
Disclaimer of warranties and liability
This site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee outcomes from following site content or tool results. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability arising from your use of this site is limited to the greatest extent allowed; liability connected to an actual project is addressed in that project's written agreement.
