What we collect

When you request a consultation, we collect what you type into the form: your name, email, optional phone number, ZIP code, and the details you share about your room, training, timeline, and budget comfort. Reading articles and using the free tools requires no account and no email; tool inputs are processed in your browser and are not sent to us.

How we use it

• To respond to your consultation request and schedule the on-site measure
• To prepare your design and your fixed quote
• To answer questions you send us by email

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not add you to a marketing list because you asked for a quote.

Who we share it with

Consultation requests are delivered to us by our transactional email provider, which processes the message contents to deliver it. If your project proceeds, the details needed to do the work are shared with the installers and suppliers on your project, and only those details. We do not share your information with anyone else except as required by law.

Retention and your choices

We keep consultation requests for as long as needed to serve your project or answer your inquiry. You can ask us at any time to correct or delete what we hold about you by emailing hello@liftstead.com, and we will do it promptly.

Children

Liftstead is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we make significant changes to this policy, we will note it here with a new date. Continued use of the site after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
